The title for this exhibit, "Continuing Connectivity" grew from my desire to continue
connecting people to my inside views on our waterways and oceans in my work.  The pieces are painted on deep
edge canvas with the painting continuing around the edges, allowing the piece to remain open and fluid. they depict
serene ocean scenes and lush bayside marshes sprinkled with birds and wildlife to alllow the viewer to come in and relax
beside me and feel the tranquility nature provides. My hopes are to remind everyone of the beauty of our beaches
and to inspire the natural instinct to protect our waterways for future generations.
Since my last show I participated in Delaware's Environmental Resources Programs
Rain Barrel contest creating an award winning piece titled "What Goes In Must Come Out" and was honored to recieve
the award from Delaware"s Governor. and the barrel traveled around the state for a year with the final destination
the grounds of the Governors mansion. And stemming from that I entered and was selected to be the winner of
this years cover art for the Delawares Wetlands Conference Programs Brochure. Using my work as a tool to help
preserve the health and beauty of our shores is why this subject has and will continue to be a heart felt work of love
I try to instill in every brushstroke. See you there!
